The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation introduces new responsibilities for businesses and other non-household users of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). This includes businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, when they dispose of their electrical waste. These organisations will need to ensure that all separately collected WEEE is treated and recycled. Whether the business or the producer of the (EEE) pays for this depends on the circumstances
We support the WEEE Directive at System 3 Services Ltd, we are also licensed waste carriers with the Environment Agency to deal with waste I.T Equipment.
Our aim is to recycle and put unwanted computers back into use for the community. If the waste computers are fit for recycling the drive is wiped with our specialist erasing software then the PC is re-conditioned and offered to a charity, schools or colleges.
Should the PC be beyond re-conditioning we wipe the data and then break down the PC and have all the components sent for re-cycling.
We will collect from 1-1000 or more computers from large corporate companies to small businesses and issue the correct paperwork to advise that the computer has been disposed of in the correct order.
It's time we all played a part in recycling that's why we believe in getting the computers back out working in the environment.
Of course our Data Erasing software meets M.O.D and Government standards and no personal data will ever be retrieved from the hard drive. People are unaware that data is still recoverable from a formatted drive and a broken drive!
We're happy also to collect waste computers and clear the data from:
Schools
Hospitals
Community Clubs
Domestic Household
Councils
Businesses
